Meet the founder

I'm Micah Nicholes. I didn't come from money — I grew up one of seven kids with a dad who drove a truck and carried the whole family on it, and I learned to work early. No college; I went straight into the workforce, did construction, then spent years in restaurants. The whole time I had a side hustle going — a construction gig, a garage-door business, even a sawmill I turned into a little flooring operation.

I read Rich Dad Poor Dad at 19 and it stuck. In 2014 I bought my first real estate — a 4-unit and a 5-unit — held them, then rolled that equity into doing this for real. In the years since I've bought over 100 houses and done just about every kind of deal there is. I started HouseBuyerz because the industry is full of marketers who never actually buy anything, and sellers deserve to work with someone who does — and who treats them like a person, not a transaction.

When I'm off the clock, I'm a husband and a dad. That's not marketing — it's a big part of why doing this the right way matters to me.
